Kannawidan Festival

The province of Ilocos Sur has recently celebrated its Kannawidan Ylocos Festival. This year marks the province’s 193rd year based on the Royal Decree dated February 2, 1818 separating Ilocos Sur from Ilocos Norte. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”.

My Dream, My Future

Every little thing is possible if and only if you have faith in God and believe in yourself that you can do all the things, easy or a difficult one.
Everyone of us has his own dreams or ambitions on life. As a person, I have so many dreams in life. First is to graduate from college and to have work. I know that it will be hard for mr to look for a job if I,m not a college graduate that's why before I look for a job, I want first to graduate from college so that I'll be able to look for a job that could help in my everyday life. Second is that I want to travel the whole world with my family of course. I want to go to other countries and hang-out there and to enjoy life and be happy. Third and lastly is to alleviate my family from poverty. I want them to live a comfortable life, and a happy life as well. This time, I'll be the one to sacrifice to be able to help them. I want them to be happy with what I reached for and for what I have done for them. I want my family not to live a miserable life and I can only do this if I work much harder and with perseverance and determination, I know that I can do it.
My dreams are my future as well. I know that I can reach my dreams because I believe in myself and I believe in God in whatever I'm doing because for Him "nothing is impossible".

What does it take to be an ICT student

Being an ICT student is something interesting and something to be proud of. Not all the student of ISNHS can have the chance to be an ICT student but lucky for me because I'm an ICT student.
Blog here, blog there, activity here and there. You're not an ICT student if you don't experience these things. An ICT student is good in computer activities. He or she must know everything like how to make his or her blog, how to make it beautiful and an ICT student must know every activities that the ICT teacher gives. Well, everything has a learning process. Before you make the activity. you have first to learn every detail. In an ICT subject, one should learn and one shoul do activities as well. Yes, ICt subject is inyteresting but its hard also but like what I've said awhile ago, everything has a learning process. We must learn everything about Ict subject so that we could teach these learnings also to those students who are not lucky enough to encounter an ICT subject.
Really, being an ICT student is something to be proud of and you must be happy because you are lucky ernough having ICT subject and learning everything in here is so interesting.

REFLECTION

This grading i have learned many things, one is teamwork, you cant do all things by yourself. Two, you have to be patient when problems or challenges come to you. And third, all things cannot be done in only one time. Anded to us.  finally, all the tags and other topics ma'am has shared to us, it was really fun doing it.
Well, since first grading and until now, my problems are still the same, and that is the slow internet connection, especially blogger. Its really nerve wracking and annoying when this things happen to me, that's why sometimes I can't put my posts in time. And one more thing is the noisy classroom, it really hard to concentrate when all your classmates are shouting and talking all at the same time.
I'll be more understanding and ignore all my classmates who are being noisy in class. And be more attentive in class too.
Moving on I will give continue to use all the things our teacher has thought us. And to be a good person.

KEEPING IN MIND OUR MOTHER LANGUAGE

Every person has their own language. This language helps them to communicate with their friends and family. With this language, they could express their feelings, thoughts, intentions, ambitions, likes and dislikes.
There are so many languages in he world. English is our universal language, Filipino for our national language, and Iloco for our mother language. There are still many language but let's focus on our mother language because Iloco language is not often being used now by us Filipinos. There are so many languages and we do not know which one we are going to use. But did you know that Iloco is very important to us especially the Ilocanos. By this language, Ilocanos understand one another. Also, we should keep in mind that Iloco is not a cheap language because it's not only for Ilocanos, but for also for us for it is our mother language. Also Iloco can be easily learned by other people that it is called the mother language.
We should keep in ind that our mother language is as important and as useful as any other language. We should also use this like our other languages. It's our mother language, an important language.

ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

We wish you Merry Christmas.....we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.... this song is commonly heard when it's December, when Christmas is near.
I can now hear voices form children singing Christmas songs accomplished by different instruments. I can ow see the colorful Christmas decorations like Christmas tree, lanterns and many more. These things made me realize and feel that Christmas is here again. But as an individual, have you ever realized the true essence of Christmas?
As an individual, we see Christmas as a holiday that we celebrate because of the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people see Christmas as receiving gifts day. They think that if they receive gifts, they'll feel Christmas. They only receive but do not give. Let me tell you one true meaning of Christmas and that is giving. As the saying goes, "It's better to give than to receive", it's better to share your blessings instead of keeping these to yourself alone. It's not about letting others know how good you are, but its about you as a person this Christmas. Second, thankfulness, forgiving and saying sorry. This is the best day for yo to thank those people who have done good things to you and who stayed by your side when you were in need. Also, this is the best day for you to forgive he people who did bad things to you and so with saying sorry to those people you've hurt. Third is loving, this Christmas day, love those people who love you. Love them for they always stay by your side when you need them. And those people are your friends, and of coursou celebe your family. Lastly, how you celebrate Christmas. Christmas is not only the food you eat, the decorations on your house, the big Christmas tree that you made, but its how you celebrate Christmas together with you family. Even though you don't have enough food for your Noche Buena, as log as you are complete in celebrating Christmas with your family, your Christmas will be really happy and joyful. These things are the true essence of Christmas.
Christmas is not about colorful decorations and Christmas songs, but its about how you celebrate it. How you value the true essence of Christmas, everything beside and everything in your life.

"New Year, New Me"

2011 is over and it's the start of 2012. New life, new experiences, mew friends, new environment, new looks......everything today is new. This 2012, what is the new me? What changes me, the way I am when another year is over?
Goodbye 2011 and welcome 2012!!!!Another year is over. It's time for us to face another year of ourlives. As the year changes, people change also. They've been guided by their new year's resolution. New year's resolution, for them is a help to start a new life. Even me believed that but in the end, there's no such new year's resolution that I have done so good. Foe me, starting a new life depends on the thingsthat make you feel pressured or nervous all the time. This 2012, I don't have new year's resolution, only I just do all my best in whatever challenges I face. I will just do what makes mer happy this 2012. Life is too short, you don't know what will happen next that's why I will be in peace this 2012, I will just avoid having conflicts with other people and also be with friends. I will be with friends, deal with them and be happy all the tiome.
Life is too short, now it's happiness; maybe tomorrow it's sadness. Live life to tyhe fullest. This 20123, you don't need to have new year's resolution, as long as you are willing to change for the better. People just change, we don't actually ask them to change but they will just change for their own good.
